About The Department
The Post Graduate Department of Commerce was established in the year 2005 and offers the M.Com programme, providing students with opportunities for advanced learning and professional development in the field of Commerce. The Department also offers Post Graduate Diploma Programmes to all Postgraduate students in Banking and Insurance Management, Tax Management, Entrepreneurship Development, and Ind AS and IFRS, enabling students to acquire specialized knowledge and industry-relevant skills. The Department is recognized as a Research Centre from University of Mysore, fostering research, innovation and academic excellence among students and faculty. The Department has well-equipped classrooms and provides access to the Central Library with INFLIBNET facility, supporting students in their academic and research pursuits. The Department offers a conducive and enriching learning environment that promotes the overall development of students by nurturing their academic, professional, research, communication and interpersonal skills.
